We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm. Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for.     Change in plans for our Anniversary. Started with cocktails - OK. Meal was good. Steak was cooked well, but over marinated for me. Wife had the Grouper and Brussels sprouts… really enjoyed it (and couldn’t leave the last few bites!). Bill seemed a little high for the meal. Service was great. Waitress was very attentive.

    Truly my favorite restaurant in the Boone/Blowing Rock area! Love the seasonal menu, the incredible service and fantastic atmosphere of the Gamekeeper. Everyone from valet to hostess to server to chef to management is consistently kind,professional and care that you have a great experience. Highly recommend! (The turkey pot pie was delicious!!)

    This is an outstanding restaurant! Delicious, perfectly prepared grouper for me and wonderful scallops for my wife. Our server was delightful and throughly professional, and the pacing of the meal was perfect. The restaurant also has lovely decor, very stylish and up to date. Great place for a special occasion.
