If guests just need some premium meat to bring home to cook, the butcher shop has its own entrance at the side of the building where guests can peruse all kinds of cuts of beef, lamb, pork and various kinds of house made sausages and pate. Naturally, Laurelhurst Market's menu focuses on the many fine cuts of meat that are cut on-site as well as farm fresh produce. Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there.     I wasn’t really impressed with the seating because I had specifically requested a more intimate setting for my partner and I as we were celebrating our birthdays and we felt like we were right in the middle of other parties both to our left and right and behind. So bummed out they didn’t take that booking information into consideration otherwise everything else was great.

    We have been to this restaurant quite a few times and always love it here. Great food, drink, service and ambience. My wife was born in Russia and this plays makes gives her a lot of nostalgia and she can vouche for the authenticity of the cuisine. Can't recommend enough!

    The views from the restaurant are amazing! The table was perfect, just what we needed for our business meeting. The management was very accommodating when I had to add additional seating the day before. The staff showed us exceptional service and was super friendly plus very knowledgeable about the menu. We had an excellent time and will definitely be back!

    We had the hanger steak, stake frits, and a hamburger. All were delicious and cooked according to our request. We love the food, atmosphere and location of LM and will return soon.
