Welcome to the Steam Plant Restaurant and Brew Pub! This historical building actually functioned as a steam plant between 1916 and 1986, when the last boiler was shut down in December of that year.Then years later, the old plant was transformed from a dirty, drab industrial behemoth into a cathedral-bright architectural showcase becoming a functional commercial space while maintaining as much history and equipment as possible within the rigid guidelines of historic renovation. Fortunately, the iconic twin stacks continue to lend a uniqueness to the Spokane skyline. Since reopening in November 2021, the Steam Plant has partnered with Grain Shed Brewing whose beers are made with regionally sourced ingredients. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew it was going to be a wonderful evening. The hostess was genuinely thrilled to have us there. Our server Kelsey greeted us with a warm smile. The menu had so many wonderful choices. We started with the meatballs, salad, then finished with the lemon pasta. We also shared the Panna cotta. We cannot say enough about Sorella. It was definitely worth the wait. I made reservations four weeks prior. We will definitely be going back.

Excellent service - very attentive and helpful to our large party of 8 that included a 3 year old and 1 year old! Food was also excellent and the views of the falls and lighted Pavilion at Riverfront Park are beautiful at night. We especially enjoyed the salmon, surf and turf with scallops and desserts: chocolate mousse, huckleberry burnt crème, and bread pudding. Highly recommend!
