We had the Friday special which was Surf and Turf. Everything was flavored perfectly. My husband had the Caesar salad and I chose the mixed green salad. They were good sized, and every bite had been tossed in just enough dressing. We chose the ribeye and our two sides were mashed potatoes and asparagus. The cheesecake dessert was light and delicious and the strawberry sauce drizzle gave it a great flavor. Our waiter took very good care of us. We can't wait to go back. It was that good!

My wife and I go every year for her birthday, which is on Christmas Day. So we visit the Ringside a few days before her birthday. It is always the most stellar experience for her. We absolutely love the service. The food is pure class, so delicious. We love the elegance of the place and the community vibe, having been open since 1944. It is her favorite gift for her birthday month.♥️😀

Blair went above and beyond to ensure my mom had a wonderful Birthday and time!! She was an amazing server and we all loved her!! Blair has the sweetest personality and we will be asking for every time we come to Portland City Grill!!!

My husband loves Afternoon tea so we celebrated his 55th birthday at Sweet Peas this past week. We had a wonderful time and the tea and room was a celebration of the holiday season. The lovely ladies who run this tea room do such a great job. The sandwiches were full of flavor, the sweets were delicious and the scones nice and crumbly (as they should be) I would say my only disappointment would be that the cream for the scones is just whipped cream and not clotted cream as is tradition. But I know that it’s hard to make traditional clotted cream with our rules against unpasteurized dairy. They serve one type of tea as per the season, and at first I was disappointed as we like to choose our own separate teas. But the seasonal tea (Clementine Clove) was delicious. When we were asking about 2 of the for purchase teas on display, they asked if we would like sample a small pot of them. This was excellent service as we didn’t like them at all. But we really enjoyed the Clove tea and ended up purchasing a bag of it. We will definitely come back again in summer to experience their summer menus. Also, as far as Afternoon tea, the cost per person is VERY reasonable.
