Alexander's Craft Cocktails and Kitchen was named after the distillery located on the grounds from 1861-1865, which washed away in a flood (historic marker located between the restaurant & The Manor).The newly renovated main bar is located on 1st floor, and opens onto expansive wrap-around, creekside porches.     We celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night and from the get go felt like we were taken care of. The hosts seemed sincere and cheerful wishing her a happy birthday, and that set the tone for the night feeling special. I’ve worked in service, and I know it’s not always easy to be festive on someone else’s behalf when tons of birthdays are celebrated every day, and the kindness of the staff stood out. Sandra took wonderful care of us, comped a dessert for the birthday and made sure we had everything we needed while giving us our time and space to enjoy the meal. We will be back!

    The food is out of this world and our server was attentive in the most balanced ways and knew the menu well! Ask for Vincenzo, he’s an amazing server! Its my #1 place to take guests who are in town, but you have to plan ahead!

    We had dinner for our 54th Anniversary! It was the greatest meal from beginning to end! The beef tenderloin was so tender we could cut it with our fork ….super delicious! We had the Autumn Bread Pudding with gelato to cap off the night!! The service and ambiance was super! We loved our experience and will definitely go back again!
