In 1998, Buddy Guindon, his wife Katie, and his brother Kenny opened Katie's Seafood Market in Galveston, Texas. For more than 20 years now, Katie's Seafood Market has provided the highest quality of products available to its customers. The majority of seafood comes from local fishermen and shrimpers, including Red Snapper, Grouper, Golden Tile Fish, Flounder, Oysters, Shrimp, and Blue Crabs. A producer contacted Guindon in the hopes of doing a reality show about his family business. In 2015, the reality show 'Big Fish Texas' came to life on National Geographic. As a supporter of the local economy, In September of 2019, Buddy opened Katie’s Seafood House, next to the market. Katie’s seafood market supplies the restaurant with all fresh seafood. I took my niece for her 21st birthday, they treated her as if she was the most special person to come in that day. This was Emma’s first example of fine dining and she has now asked to make this a yearly event for the two of us. Without a question, we will be joining for years to come!

I love number 13.. tonite.. off.. Flounder for my friend and halibut for me.. Both overcooked.. Was corrected.. Snapper for me. Flounder remade for my friend.. The service I had was outstanding, made all better.. not sure what happened in the fish station in the kitchen,,, but it wasn't working.. second try better.. My friend always eats the flounders top and bottom , didn't happen.. I love 13, but tonite.. didn't work
