Restaurants near Santa Ines

There was a female that chatted with us quite a bit. She was fantastic and we adored her. She was apparently only with the restaurant for a short time as she was in between projects having already been a chef and manager elsewhere.

Memorable! This was easily the most impressive and creative restaurant we ate at in Oaxaca (based on 4 days and 8 meals — all in Michelin recommended restaurants). The creativity was truly remarkable — but was surpassed in each dish by the flavors. The presentation was also extraordinarily refined. The house specialty cocktails were outstanding as was the outdoor dining ambiance. The only aspect that was less than superlative was the service — it was perfunctory at best!

A wonderful experience. Peaceful garden setting, amazing caldo de piedra cooked at table, and brownie with mezcal foam for dessert. A very special place.

Outstanding experience all around. Great service, stellar food. We have been to Oaxaca a dozen trips, and this we proclaimed as the best ever!
