The perfect variety of surf and turf. Lots of elements of creativity in traditional dishes. It was everything we wanted menu wise for dinner. The decor is very basic, but honestly, I stop paying attention to it when we really started diving into our food. I could offer some other cocktails with a little bit more of a warm element but if you’re looking for a many options for straight liquor or a good wine variety without being a wine based restaurant, it still has a lot to offer.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful view of the harbor and watched the sun set. The halibut was incredible and Katie, our server, was fabulous. XO, The Lovelies :)

We sat outside. It was wonderful The waiter seemed a little pushy to get us ordering.

Roe is my very favorite dinner spot in Bellingham currently. Having eaten here four times in as many months - and looking forward to returning very soon - I’m happy to say Roe is consistent. Always friendly, attentive staff - first drink orders are taken and delivered shortly after seating. Staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu - it feels like a family place, but never slouchy or gushy. The food is fresh, fresh, creative but not too cheffy and always so yummy. The bavette steak is dreamy and the fries that accompany the steak make worthy partners. The kitchen treats all the ingredients with respect. Fish is cooked to perfection, vegetables are just as good.

Overall, it was a great experience. Second time in the last two weeks. Very consistent in both preparation and presentation and to add to that, pretty frackin delicious. You have to try the risotto, it’s really really good! Keep up the great work Team Bourbon Creek!
