He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

Everything was on point. Friendly hostess sat us promptly and addressed our parking concerns. Happy birthday name card was at my husband’s seat . Waiter was very attentive and accommodating. Food was delicious made to our perfection. The atmosphere was adorned In festive Christmas attire as the fireplace gave off a warm flow.

We had 8 diners and all went well. The food was hot and yummy. Our server offered selection of beer for a few that were uncertain which to choose. We will visit again for sure.

Excellent experience all around. Little neck clams on the half shell were excellent and the portion generous. Our entrees, fettuccine with lobster and yellowfin tuna tataki, were well prepared and also of generous size, which meant, unfortunately, no room for dessert.
