- JJaneVIPChicago / Illinois •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went here after getting married at city hall and the staff made this such a wonderful experience! They put flowers at our table and wrote us a handwritten card with complimentary Prosecco. Great service and food, and they were accommodating to our party of 12. Would recommend to anyone!More infoRoanokePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Loop•4.4
- QQuinnVIPGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely experience on Valentines Day. the food was excellent and our server was outstanding - she was incredible attentive and did a wonderful job throughout the night. She was also amazing with my food allergies - she personally went to the kitchen and double checked that everything we ordered was free of my allergens and continually reassured me throughout the night that everything was free from them. This was particularly meaningful to us because just the night before I had an incident in another restaurant that caused a severe reaction, so both my boyfriend and i had been nervous about dining out again so soon after but didn't want to give up this reservation we had been looking forward to for a month. Our server made our night - that's the type of service that's sets restaurants apart. It would have been nice if one drink had been included in the set Valentines menu price since it was $150, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Highly, highly recommend Grill on 21 and we will definitely be back!More infoGrill on 21Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• River North (Chicago)•4.5
- CCameronChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFriday lunch on Valentines Day right when they opened. We will be back. I walked past this place everyday when I was in grad school. I’m glad we finally went. This place smells amazing if you’re close to the kitchen. Decor is clean and neat too without feeling sterile. This is what I expect out of a place in the Sears Tower. Our server, Paulino, was great. He seemed to always check in at just the right time for drink refills or to clear plates. Great food suggestions too. The food. We both got steak frites. She had lobster bisque. I got a bonus tenderloin skewer. We got the maple flapjack cake and the s’mores cake bar. The steaks were so good you’d think the bill was going to be much higher. Fries were good. The desserts were massive, overkill for two people, and we were glad we ordered them. Our waiter gave us a heads up that the flapjack cake is already a sharing size. The s’mores cake bar was even bigger than I expected. We brought 2/3ish of each home. They tasted great. We could see taking guests there for drinks and desserts. I’d say either would be more than enough for four adults with sweet tooths. Flavors were great. I’m looking forward to eating more of the desserts over the weekend. We will be back to try more of the menu.More infoKindling | Downtown Cookout & CocktailsPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.5
- PPhilipSan Antonio •1 review4.0Dined on Feb 7, 2025Everything was great once I got into the restaurant itself, but getting there was rough. Of the many elevators in the hotel, they only use one, so both directions you’re crammed in with other random parties. Then it opens up into a service entrance. Then you have to check in again (why twice?). By the time I was seated I was warm, ready to take off my coat and have a drink. That said, the food and drink itself was wonderful.More infoSeville ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Downtown / Loop•4.5
