A stone's throw from the banks of the River Liffey, Ruby Molly may be a newcomer, but she's channelling some serious 19th-century charm. For over a century, the area was home to a lively fruit and veg market. With fresh produce arriving daily on horse-drawn carts, the surrounding streets were abuzz with traders and shoppers, swapping tales of town and country.Inspired by this meeting of rural and urban, we've created an inviting space to meet and mingle with folk from near and far. Join us in the bar for some great music, settle in and take our signature cocktails for a spin. And when it's time to unwind, each room is a haven of Lean Luxury calm, designed with sleep experts to help you drift off after a busy day in the city.A short walk from the river and ten minutes from Temple Bar, Ruby Molly's a great base for exploring Dublin.

It’s Personal at Petronella. We are a relaxed, informal restaurant situated on romantic Butterslip Lane. Petronella is charming, situated over two floors, in one of Kilkenny's oldest and historic buildings - we focus on wonderful Irish food and service - seasonal, delicious, yet joyously casual dining. The restaurant pays homage to Petronella de Meath, the first woman to be burned at the stake, just meters away from our restaurant 700 years ago. We hope you love Petronella as much as we do.The O'Neill Family We hope you love Petronella, as much as we do.Petronella is renowned as one of Kilkenny’s premier dining experiences, but its origins are steeped in a remarkable story. The restaurant pays homage to Petronella, the first woman accused of witchcraft in Ireland and the first woman in Europe to be executed by burning at the stake. When you leave our restaurant, take a few steps around the corner to the site of Kilkenny town hall, where Petronella met her tragic fate..

I recently visited Mimosa, and it was an excellent experience overall. The food was exceptional, with every dish crafted to perfection and full of flavor. The ambience was relaxed and inviting, striking a perfect balance between comfort and style. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional. The only small downside was the background music, which was slightly louder than ideal and made conversations a bit tricky at times. Still, the fantastic food and laid-back vibe more than made up for it. I’d definitely recommend it for a casual yet elevated dining experience.

Lovely Gaston pub in Athy, we had attentive waitresses and enjoyed the outdoor craic after our meal. We were staying at Kilkea Castle whose staff recommended the Auld Shebeen.
