Skull Creek Dockside Restaurant, dropped its anchor in the Fall of 2017 and forever changed the culinary landscape of the Lowcountry. In early 2017 the partners of the restaurant began to transform it into their vision for Hilton Head's newest waterfront dining destination. This restaurant, which resembles an old-style river house, is full of authentic architecture, reclaimed wood, and nautical accents that leave you feeling like you've stepped into a Melville novel. The sweeping waterfront view is showcased by full pane glass windows throughout the restaurant which you can enjoy no matter where you dine. The covered patio dining area, and massive outdoor bar, the shark bar, allows patrons to enjoy the Lowcountry climate and serve to further highlight the amazing sunset views over skull creek. If you are concerned about long wait times, the good news is the restaurant accepts reservations and provides a family recreation area between dockside and boathouse.     Met up with family for Thanksgiving dinner. Everything went perfectly. Wait staff was attentive throughout the meal. Portions were generous. We appreciated that there wasn’t several entree, salads, and desserts to chose from on the limited Thanksgiving menu.

    We had a wonderful time last night. The service was fantastic (Melanie took care of us throughout the evening), and the food was phenomenal. We had the flounder, redfish, fish and sheephead fish for dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted outstanding. Appetizers were the pate and esgargots and both were so delicious. Overall my family and I had a great evening. Thank you!

    Ela’s was excellent! It was recommended by a friend and we are so glad we tried it. My husband had the Snapper and I had the short ribs. Both dishes were so delicious! Beautiful cozy restaurant on the water. And we loved the music they played throughout the restaurant. We will be back for sure next time we are in Hilton Head. Thank you!

    My family of six had dinner for my Moms 75th Birthday at WiseGuys for the first time. I have to say the service and ambiance were both perfect, but the food was the winner. From the drinks, to the apps, to the main course, we were blown away. Not to mention the desert as well. Portions are huge and perfectly prepared. I would come back time and time again.

    When over from the UK always meet friends for lunch at Janes. Always book in advance and request outside table. When we arrived today was told no outside table available which was disappointing.
