Restaurants near Solera Primo

My business had me traveling for 40 years. I have eaten in the great "food" cities of the U.S. Cuisine and Wine matches with any restaurant I have been to. I know, I sound like some hipster hooked on hyperbole, but this is a fine dining experience. Best place I've ever eaten in Arizona by far. Had bacon-wrapped filet with bernaise sauce and my wife had duck breast. French onion soup was primo. But the bacon/bleu cheese brussells sprouts were a total surprise...delicious. You can order a $12 glass of wine or a $2,500 bottle from the extensive and sophisticated wine list curated by a sommelier. Our server, Laura, completed our wonderful night with her skill, courtesy, and knowledge. Attentive, but not obstrusive, she made it even better. It's so rare to see something like this in this generally tired culinary landscape.

Tried something new this time, the shrimp pasta. Great taste and the shrimp were huge! Enjoyed a salad and a firecracker roll as appetizer. Topped off with a glass pear martini.

Always a great place for live music, appetizers and drinks. Staff are friendly … food is sub par. Ordered chips and salsa and salsa was off. It took awhile before a server came to our table to take food and drink order … once order was placed, food and drinks arrived promptly. Had to flag server down several times to place additional drink orders and ask for water glasses to be refilled. Same issue when ready to cash out.

Honey & Vine is a great dining experience. We had been there a few weeks earlier and went in the have dessert with a friend celebrating their birthday. The desserts we excellent, the service was outstanding and the birthday girl was very happy. When I was looking for somewhere to have Christmas dinner with friends, Honey & Vine came to mind and I booked a reservation. Everything was exceptional, from the food to the service to the ambiance and the choices. Our waiter Mark was so friendly and helpful and attentive. The food was outstanding, it could not have been a better experience for us to celebrate Christmas. If you are looking for a place for a special meal, or just where you will get exceptional food and service, this is the restaurant for you.
