- RRichardSouth Carolina •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe dined on the patio because indoors can be noisy, and everything was great. The food was excellent as was the service. We love dining outdoors when the weather permits, so the end of December was a treat, and the patio is never noisy. The prices are very reasonable. 39 Rue de Jean remains a gem in downtown Charleston with a unique character all its own!More info39 Rue de Jean - CharlestonPrice: Expensive• French• Downtown Charleston•4.4

The smaller room got really cold, since people were leaving, so I asked if we can move to the big room, which had more people and was warmer. They looked into it and was able to grant the request. I was sad that the raviolis were sold out. We both had the lamb burgers. They were amazing! Would recommend!More infoChurch and Union - CharlestonPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown Charleston•4.5

Order a drink from Alexa at the bar and you won’t regret it. And Steph always does a fanatic job making sure everyone is taken care of. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend!!More infoO-KuPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Downtown Charleston•4.8

We ordered the hushpuppies and fried green tomatoes for the table, both were delicious. My husband had the fried chicken, which was excellent, my son ordered the noodles from the kid's menu and I had the fig and goat cheese salad. Our server was kind and attentive and the restaurant was cozy and festive for the season. The drinks were very good as well - mocktails and non-alcoholic IPA. We would absolutely go back!More infoAmen Street Fish + Raw BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown Charleston•4.8
