This was a great experience from first minute to last - great hospitality around excellent food! We were early, seated quickly and with preferences accounted for. We had scoped six dishes in advance and opted out of one when a waygu Big Mac was offered - a most try! Server knew the menu, understood her role to guide discovery and make sure we had a great meal - 10/10 recommend! Had scallops which were amazing, different than other preparations, and truly stood out. Brussels were his favorite, and were flavorful with a maple item underneath that made it work! Risotto, alcapurrias, and mussels with lobster (only ok) rounded it out with donut dessert. Really really solid and different. Chef Chris came by to say hello - you should too, truly worthy of reputation and ranking!

Ordered lamb and arrived in a timely manner. However, it was overcooked and tough. We mentioned to server and they brought us a new plate of lamb which was a thousands times better-appearance and taste And they removed from bill. My question is why did they serve the first dish which looked like it was left over from the previous night. We will not be back. Food value was way overpriced.

Consistently delicious food and welcoming ambience. Service was impeccable and warm. There are good reasons why it’s hard to get a reservation! So grateful we were able to start the year off there!

This has been our family's favored Boston restaurant for holiday dinners over the past five years, and the interior seasonal decor was perfect as usual. The service we received earlier this week was magnificent, and the food, as always, was outstanding. Our family ordered beef, chicken and fish entrees, and they were all exquisitely prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. Special kudos to Mac, our waiter, who was one of the best fine dining servers that we've ever had the pleasure to meet, as he deftly handled the late arrival of one of our party's members, as well as the necessary considerations relating to my wife's seafood allergies. Spectacular cocktails and desserts were the icing on the cake. There's little doubt that our family will be returning to Grille 23 & Bar in 2025.

The Black Cat at Vee Vee is incredible, delicious and memorable. I keep thinking about the DjonDjon fried rice and butterscotch pudding. The kids adored the fish tacos and chili shrimp tostada. Basically EVERYTHING is delish! The team is awesome and we can’t wait to go back!
