We dined at The Fort on a Monday night, celebrating a birthday. The food was excellent, as it always is, but service seemed a bit rushed and not as attentive as usual, with items being removed before we were finished with them, not being asked if we wanted another beverage, and only the birthday person got a dessert. The other person was not asked, or offered the dessert menu. Odd, for The Fort, especially on a non-holiday Monday. Perhaps they were surprised by a larger than expected turnout.

First time here. For a Latin place, it had mainly Mexican food. The flank steak was fantastic. My wife enjoyed the cheese enchilada, and the drinks were inventive and good. Friday night was hopping, but we were able to get reservation for 6:15 two hours earlier.

Small, locally owned with excellent food. All the starters and entrees I have had were very good. Staff is friendly and the service is good. I definitely recommend it.

The beer was really good. Some of the good we really liked others was okay.

We visited on a Wednesday evening for Steak and Lobster (at a great price). We went a little early in order to try their newly added Happy Hour and decided to sit at the bar. The drink choices are limited and the discount on appetizers is minimal, but there is something for everyone and a weak Happy Hour is still better than none (which was the case for a long time). The Steak and Lobster were both done perfectly and the waitress (barkeep), kept us supplied and happy. We will visit again.
