Everything was great I really enjoyed. The greeting when I arrived, the music selection was great. The only thing I didn’t like was it took our food too long to come but the food was so good!! I feel it was too much on our waitress. She had two big tables and three smaller ones. It’s basically a quick fix. The business is getting clientele because someone put them on social media. But Definitely hire or put more waitresses on the schedule.

Wonderful setting and ambience. Very attentive and hospitable staff from moment one walks in to being seated! Food delicious (we did the brunch) something for everyone - picky eaters to vegetarians and pescatarians! We had a lovely time and celebrated a bday and enjoyed it all! We will definitely be back! The server was very nice and attentive. As a long time Red Lobster fan the food on this trip was less than ideal. The fish in the fish and chips meal was more breading than fish and the hush puppies were not hush puppies - they were corn nuggets. Dining companion's medium rare steak was very close to well done.

We visited Veritas for dinner before attending the Drinks & Deception show upstairs. Upon arrival, the restaurant had a moderate crowd, but we quickly noticed that very few tables had food, which raised concerns about timing. It took about 10 minutes before a hostess even arrived to seat the three waiting parties they were at the door, suggesting they might have been understaffed or in the midst of a shift change. Once seated, the wait times for both food and drinks were noticeably long, which made it a bit stressful given our plans for the evening. Despite the delays, Veritas offers a fairly priced menu and a pleasant ambiance. I’d consider returning in the future, hoping they address the staffing and wait-time challenges.

This was the best dining experience I have had in at least 3 years. Captain Jack Sparrow was our server and he was incredible. Friendly, funny, on top of all we asked for and made us feel like he was there for us. So many servers and restaurants have been settling for crap service with no apologies. This is the only restaurant in Jackson that I have had a good experience with and I will only dine here from now on when I want a night out.
