- MMarySacramento / Sacramento Valley •3 reviews5.0Dined todaySalmon filletes on brioche toast was outstanding. Perfect for sharing. Halibut and duck breast were the perfect entrees. We live in Nevada city but if Christy Hill didn’t require an overnight we would dine there more often. Our waiter recommended a wonderful bottle of wine. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the new menu without being intrusive.More infoChristy HillPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Tahoe City•4.8
- PPamTahoe / Reno Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoParking at the hotel was chaotic that day but the guys at the valet were great in getting our car and taking care of it for us while we went inside to get seated for our reservation. The seating was in a a quiet corner and the waiter we had was super chill and relaxed. He gave us time to look at the menu and pick our drinks and food. We had two appetizers- the corn bisque and the duck- both were delicious! Our entrees took a really really long time in coming though. They eventually gave us another sampling of the corn bisque for everyone to tide us over because of the long wait. Our party ate primarily steaks - filet mignon and the 21 day dry aged steak- both were large portions and cooked to perfection! I had the scallops- smaller portions thank goodness but delicious nontheless. And my bf had the special for the day- halibut. Best he’s ever had!!! So tender and juicy! Overall a wonderful dinner- but be prepared to spend minimum $100+ per person! Great food and service.More infoSix Peaks GrillePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Olympic Valley / Squaw Valley•4.7
- PPamSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had reservations for 8pm however showed up half an hour early. The host was super nice and was able to seat us even though it was obviously super busy on Thanksgiving. The waitress was on top of everything! Even got us two rolls heated and warmed up for us! The ambiance of the restaurant was romantic with good mood lightning. The only negative item I would have to mention is the two restrooms were super busy and there was a line of 4 people who had to wait over 10 minutes for the people in the restrooms to open up. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant for lunch or dinner!!!More infoRiver Ranch Lodge & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Tahoe City•4.5
- JJamesSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGar Woods was crawling with tons of folks looking to spend a great Thanksgiving with a great meal and good friends. For as jam packed as they were, the staff kept everything moving as smoothly as possible, which was an incredible feat! The menu was a choice of Thanksgiving Turkey or Thanksgiving ha plus you could order off of their normal Dinner menu if you preferred. Most of my group had the Turkey and it came out piping hot, covered with gravy, mashed potatoes, white and dark meat, dressing, cranberry sauce, and asparagus tips . . a feast for the eyes and stomach . . followed by apple pie and ice cream. An incredibly joyous and memorable evening. Gar Woods never fails to deliver and deliver it did. Lots of smiling faces that night!More infoGar Woods Grill and Pier RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carnelian Bay•4.6
