Had a lovely evening at Monkeypod Kitchen. Beautiful ocean view! Our server Maka was an absolute delight! 5 star hospitality and customer service! Food good however entrees were cold by the time they arrived to our table. Maka was kind enough to give us dessert on the house that was delicious! Banana cream pie…YUM!!

Totally recommend the Hula Grill! Loved the fish special and hula pie. Staff were quick to draw awning when a brief rain storm started. AJ gave great service!

Merriman's Ward is definitely our first preferred spot for wino wine share get togethers. Food's fantastic and approachable and the corkage is still wino friendly compared with other places that have corkage charges set to discourage bringing special bottles to share with friends. We enjoyed a 3 hour commiseration over a bottle of Radio Silence! Servers were attentive but not intrusive--they let us do our wine share thing; very nice and appropriate wine glasses. All in all a place not to be missed. Thanks and mahalo again Merriman's Ward!!

The food was perfect, and the meat quality was really soft, especially in the meat. Although I'm actually careful to compare, I visited Wolfgang Steak during my itinerary with expectations because it was one of the three major steak restaurants, Compared to Wolfgang Steak, I thought there would be few likes and dislikes because I could hardly feel the meat scent of Wolfgang Steak, but Ruth Chris Steak had a really good meat scent, especially because the meat was so soft that I had a really satisfying meal. In addition, our table server gave us various advice and tips on our trip to Hawaii and said it was a honeymoon, so we had a really happy time because they prepared a special food mixed with strawberries and chocolate to commemorate the honeymoon, including taking pictures.

This is the second time we celebrated New Years Day at Wolfgang’s steak house. Pricey I know but you want to start the new year with awesome food and worry later how much I paid. Service was again excellent. Praises to our server Allie. If next year goes good I’ll be back again.
