Restaurants near Steck Valley Park

Parking at entrance and across the street. Atmosphere is friendly and reminiscent of Greece. Service is attentive. Food is incredibly delicious. We had the bass and beef short rib dishes for mains. Grilled octopus starter is the best we have had. Baklava is authentic; not too sweet. Would definitely recommend (make reservations!), and will return on our next visit to Austin.

As always, outstanding service. Eric always ensures great seating. Appetizers and steaks are yummy.

Great experience at 60 Vines last night. We tried many different small plates and everything was enjoyed immensely. There was a vegetarian and pescatarian in our party, both individuals had plenty of things to choose from and loved their experience. Truly something for everyone here, and incredibly reasonable prices especially considering their location. Would recommend to anyone!

Park in the Blue Parking garage, which is the closest. The reservation was easy to make; I had to change it twice and doing that was no trouble. The seating staff was only off by about 5 minutes, which wasn't much; the waiter was friendly and immediately at the table. We had heard raves about the pork chop special and those rants were not exaggerated. I'm telling you, that was the best meat of any variety that I have had this year! Oh my goodness, it was huge, maybe 4" x 4 " square, with a sweet, caramelized brown on the sides, applesauce that was a terrific dipping sauce, and the most tender meat you could imagine. Yum yum, I can still taste it. Ya gotta go!

We went on a Tuesday night and it was HOPPIN'! The entire place was packed, standing room only at the bar, and really loud, but that's what you get with a place with really high ceilings. We were seated right away, which was nice. Our server was adorable and knowledgeable. Since they were super busy, the main entrees took a bit to come out and were oddly timed, but worth the wait. Everything was delicious, and we even had a couple picky kids with us. We will definitely go back someday......probably without the kids.
