Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. We believe that our hospitality is just as important as the food and beverages we put on the table. We do not encourage our restaurant for young children.     I’ve always had a goodexperience at this location, but my most recent visit was the best by far. Someone in our party had dietary restrictions (gluten and vegetarian). The manager greeted us for our reservation and I asked him him suggestions. He gave us the perfect dish suggestion. In fact, when he went into the kitchen and made sure it was going to be cooked correctly. Everyone else on staff was amazing as well. We had the best interactions with the entire team. I would highly recommend this place for every occasion.

    Ordered two aviators for the three of us. ate one and took the other one home. Both seemed light on the Nueske’s bacon, they were good but seemed less good than previous visits. Our waitperson informed us that they were discontinuing the Weapons Check Ale. I hope they replace it with something other than an IPA. That st stuff is worse than drinking Coors…Wimpy. Or they could keep the Weapons Check👍 .

    Great food. The panna cotta dessert was absolutely amazing. Steak and pork chop both perfect. The dipping sauce for the calamari was wonderfully flavored. Good service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
