Restaurants near Suffolk Golf Course

Vintage remains one of the better choices in the Smithfield/Suffolk area, but unfortunately no longer do anything really great, except for the wine list which still has many good choices at fair prices. We discovered by chance that they actually have a separate small vegetarian menu that one of our guests discovered by asking. The mushroom appetizer that we all tried was the best sampled and should not be hidden from most customers. I wish they would concentrate on making some great entrees and skip trying to make them “southern” by for example wrapping ham around stripped bass(not a good choice).

Great steak and even better service. My waiter had a superb wine pairing suggestion for the ribeye I had. Roasted potatoes could have been crispier and less salty. Good value but definitely expensive.

She was very good the other waitress was also very helpful. Charlie came by and spoke to us he always remembers us.

We were disappointed in the tuna appetizers and the specials. Tuna was over cooked and the special was just ugh. Too much cream sauce, the crab cakes were forgettable and the seasoning on the meal was overwhelming. Our server, on the other hand was awesome! Very attentive and friendly. Knew his job and was very efficient.
