Restaurants near Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center

From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. We were greeted with a smile, and shown to our table. A server came over immediately to ask if we would like a drink before dinner. My husband ordered a Kentucky Mule, and I had brought a bottle of wine (there is a corkage fee). We were so pleased with the entrees. The Chateaubriand was perfectly grilled, and the scallops with the creamy corn polenta was awesome. Kudos to our servers and the kitchen staff for providing us with a memorable dinner.

Florida grouper was outstanding. The presentation of the food and the quantity was great. The dinner rolls were very tasty too. Service was very attentive and friendly. The noise level was higher than we would like but were seated next to a table of 7. Once they left it was much better. The drink, Southern Comfort Old Fashioned was delicious too. Great evening! Thank you.

We have visited the Acropolis in Tampa both in Ybor and Kennedy Blvd. and have always had a good experience, so we decided to try the one in Tarpon Springs and it did not dissapoint! It is a new location, only being open for a few weeks, right in the heart of the sponge docks. The first pleasant surprise is that they had free parking. Then we got seated right away and choose the outdoor, sidewalk seating since is was a beautiful evening. We ordered several appetizers and a chicken dish. The hummus was particuarly good and the salads are wonderful. We also go lentil soup which was good. I want to come back to try the Branzino fish, which I have really enjoyed at their other locations. The service was excellent. We will definately come back!

Captn Jack's has great food and even better service! We love the seafood and pies. Great atmosphere!
