Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca.     I've been at The Garrison a few times. They consistently delivers the finest Sunday roast in London, in my opinion. Generous portions, reasonable prices, and a commitment to sourcing high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients make it a standout. The service is also consistently excellent.

    Lovely meal with my partner, awesome service and I love that we weren’t rushed and were able to have three courses and time to enjoy them. Restaurant was busy and slightly noisier than was comfortable but other than that it was perfect. Monkfish main was cooked to perfection and I had the best Lychee Martini I’ve ever had! Superbly mixed. Service was attentive without being instrusive. This was our second visit and we will be back again.

    Excellent service from the very beginning. We had booked a table, but when we arrived, we were given the choice to sit further into the restaurant away from the door. Pedro was very helpful with choosing wines, providing an at table tasting service. The food was all delicious, as were the drinks. All of the waiting staff were very attentive and helpful. There was a good, lively atmosphere without being too noisy, and our table were all able to easily converse with one another. A really wonderful afternoon!
