Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. While the decor is modern, the menu still reflects traditional Mexican menu staples. The extensive menu allows for every person to find something to enjoy. Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. Service was excellent and the food delicious, we had a great cozy corner table inside as it was a little chilly out but the outside is really lovely as well. Live the shared plates and everything was super yummy.

We were unfamiliar with Firefly but, based on a good rating from YELP! we decided to try it. There were 5 of us for dinner and the food was outstanding. We opted for the 3 course fixed price menu and each dish was excellent. The waiters were friendly and attentive. The portions were generous enough so that we left satisfied but not stuffed. We'll definitely be back.
