It’s very tiny, but clean and modern inside. No glitz, no glamour, no bustling atmosphere, just a tiny quiet place out of the way. It is not on a big piazza, just a little storefront on a side street. We were the only ones there when it opened at 630 pm. The neighborhood has some friendly small non-descript shops around. The food was really excellent, we both had pasta dishes. The service could have been more attentive but then we were the only ones in there for a while, until an Italian couple came in. They mostly left us alone to talk. Value was good. More authentic than the places on the big squares and the food was excellent.

The best culinary experience in all of Italy. We chose the “blind menu,” and every dish was surprising. The service and kindness of the restaurant owner, the waiter, and the chef are truly incredible, as well as the story behind each dish. The ingredients are top-quality, and without a doubt, we will return on our next trip to Florence.

Superb restaurant with terrific service and excellent food. The dining room is beautiful. Thank you Walter for help make my wife’s special birthday so great. This is a perfect place to celebrate.

All around amazing! Florentine steak is a must! A little pricey for Italy but worth it for sure!
