- GGraceLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024I'd been eyeing this place since last year, but finally snagged a table for my sister's birthday last night. As a pescatarian, I was delighted by the variety of seafood dishes. The prawns were a standout. Don't let the small plates fool you, they're deceptively filling! We ordered about 1-2 dishes of each item on the £50 menu between 3 of us and were stuffed. Each dish was a flavour explosion! The chickpea curry was perfect. Our servers, were incredibly attentive and friendly. The vegetarian soup was a comforting blend, while the saltfish fritters were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. My siblings raved about the chicken soup as well!More infoOctavesPrice: Expensive• Caribbean• Stoke Newington•3.9
- SSalmaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024A great evening at KARV. We booked for my husband's birthday and happy to say it was absolutely worth the hour + drive. A nice intimate restaurant, tables a good distance away. The service from staff was spot on. They were attentive without being over bearing. We ordered both tacos and the marrow and the were delicious. The flavours of the tacos were nice and the slaw and sauces complemented the meats. The marrow was (if I may say) sublime! The combinations of flavours was just an explosion in the mouth and perfect with the toast! We ordered the platter for 4 which was a perfect size. Both steak were perfectly cooked/seasoned, the mash melted in the mouth, chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. The chicken wings were nicely spiced with a tangy undertone. The chicken was a nice size and tasted nice and had a lovely charred taste, All in all I would definitely be back and would recommend it.More infoKarv RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Hackney•4.3
