Gannon’s is always a wonderful dining experience for us! It’s our favorite restaurant in Nashville. Tonight we celebrated my stepmom’s birthday and Gannon’s made it a very special occasion. We always feel like family when we walk in the door. The delicious food, beautiful ambiance, and excellent customer service all make Gannon’s top notch!

Overall our experience was very good, the food was 12/10 but the noise level makes it very hard to hava a conversation. Other than that food was delicious, best beef carpaccio I’ve ate in a very long time.

My partner and I are locals. We consider Jeff Ruby's our guilty indulgence. We visit at least twice a year just for their fresh seafood tower while trying to avoid the delicious espresso martinis that keep us awake if consumed too late in the evening. It is no secret that their steaks are seared in a unique way, but I highly recommend exploring the menu. I've heard that the fried chicken is so crispy that customers have complained that it is too crispy. I say how dare they! I intend to prove them wrong upon my very next visit. Ultimately, the seafood appetizers and oysters are our more regular/ sensible favorites. We agree that they have some of the freshest seafood in Nashville. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the incredibly talented musicians who grace the stage right above the bar. You mostly see piano players on the weekdays. An underrated treat that true Nashvillians can appreciate. However, most weekends you can enjoy an array of musical talent. Including bands that are otherwise unknown on the Broadway circuit. I admit I may be somewhat sentimental about this place, but my hope is that someone will read this review and feel inspired to find their special place, too.
