Nice upscale Italian restaurant in Sobo Beach House hotel within easy walking distance of River walk and other hotels. Excellent food and very attentive service. Smart casual dress is appropriate.

Consistently terrific food and service. Outstanding menu from the appetizers right through dessert. Creative presentation and variety of offerings. MILA continues to be one of our very favorite restaurants. 

Nobu never disappoints, and this location truly exceeded our expectations! We dined here to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. We've been to so many Nobu locations, but this one stood out thanks to the incredible service from Damion. He went above and beyond, ensuring every detail was perfect. He was especially attentive and patient when accommodating my son’s allergies, which we deeply appreciated. We enjoyed all of our favorite dishes, and as always, everything was flawless—from the fresh yellowtail sashimi to the iconic Waygu. To top it all off, the chef surprised us with a beautiful birthday dessert that made the evening even more special.

The setting in the Versace mansion is perfect. The fountain, pool, tile work, statues and tapestries are the perfect setting for traditional Italian dining. The ocean air breeze flowing over the open southern wall by the pool perfectly complements the vibe in this ristorante with an authentic trattoria feel. Somehow, I wasn’t even annoyed by the constant picture taking of influencers and other diners as the setting is more like - how could you not? The medium rare lamb chops and truffle gnocchi were perfect. The desserts are a demonstration of the talent of both the chef and the servers. Try the tiramisu to see what I mean.

We go to Hoshi a lot and love it. Very good sushi and very friendly service. A neighborhood gem!
