Open for indoor and outdoor dining and curbside takeout. Outdoors dining is subject to the weather. We have heaters but not for all tables. Please dress warmly. If there is a chance of rain we will have to cancel.Shiro has been named the Zagat Guide's number one restaurant and is consistently one of the highest rated establishments in the guide (#5 in 2011; #2 for service in 2013). Reservations are recommended but we make every effort to accommodate walk-ins when possible.     The food here is beyond great!! We love the ambiance and the wood fired grill adds a romantic vibe too. Their wine list is wonderful and they have a great selection of aperitifs as well. The staff are very friendly and attentive to making your experience a fantastic one! I highly recommend this restaurant. They also have a Cheesery and the selection of cheeses is ABSOLUTELY fantastic!! Great for gift shopping too. Lots of tin fish, oils, wine…I could go on and on.

    Gus’s BBQ never disappoints. Consistently best baby back ribs in town! Sides: mash garlic potatoes, coleslaw, mac&cheese and creamed corn YUM. Service ALWAYS attentive, friendly and expedient. Hubby had the trifecta: Jalapeño sausage, brick chicken and pulled pork. All DELISH!

    Been waiting to try this restaurant for more than a year, and now I understand why this place always makes every list for best restaurants in Pasadena. It’s larger than I thought it would be, and the decor is understated yet classy—perfect vibe for a modern brasserie. The service was very friendly and unpretentious. We tried the carrots, as reviewers always rave about them, and they did not disappoint. There are lots of delicious shareable dishes on the menu, most of which are vegetarian-friendly. Everything was flavored beautifully. I had the trout for my entree. I’m not usually a big fan of that fish, but here it was excellent. Highly recommended!
