Established in 1987, Meson Don Felipe was the first Tapas Bar in London and we are still an independent, family-run business. You can expect great tapas and some amazing, well-priced Spanish wines, served in an authentic, relaxed atmosphere. We have an outside terrace with heaters and umbrellas but of course, we can't promise the weather! If you book outside we can't guarantee a table inside if the weather changes.For those unable to eat-in, we offer our famous Paellas for takeaway at lunchtime Monday-Friday.Thank you for all your support and we look forward to welcoming you soon to this little bit of Spain in Waterloo.

Since the Romans left, the Italians have been operating a policy of conquering the world's palate, plate by plate, and traditionally-run family restaurants like Cotto are their failsafe. The welcome is unfailingly warm here, the decor is authentic in feel, with murals on the walls, and the pleasures of the table are taken seriously indeed. Cotto is a 5-minute walk from the London Eye and the Aquarium, perfect for before or after family outings and it's also very popular with business customers during the week. There's live music on offer, too. As for the menu, try classic Tricolor salad to start, one of more than a dozen pastas, like Spaghetti carbonara, and a main course of simply and beautifully grilled Sirloin steak.     Managed to book a table last minute on a Saturday when the restaurant was in full swing. Busy and bustling but not so noisy that we couldn't converse, and service was friendly and attentive. Ordered the cote du boeuf to share and a bottle of Malbec Reserve. Although the chips and peppercorn sauce were a little cold, the flavour made up for it. Enjoyed the sauteed mushroom side. A filling meal and felt like good value for steak in central London on a Saturday night.

    MdF is an oasis of delight; the food is always delicious, the wines great value and the ambiance is perfect for a great night out with a close friend. The service was exceptional with David, a charming, smiling and efficient chap who made absolutely sure we were going to be looked after. Thank you to him and the whole team. It was a joy from start to finish. See you again very soon!

    Would come back again in a heartbeat ! Very attentive host and food was so tasty! Portion sizes for tapas are very generous but that allowed us to take some home which I thoroughly enjoyed the following day!
