iSLAS means Islands, a Filipino restaurant located in Parkdale, Toronto. The name “iSLAS” represents the 7,641 islands that make up the Philippines. Filipino cuisine is a blend of Austronesian, Malay, Chinese, Spanish, American, and indigenous influences. The flavors are a combination of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. Vinegar is a common ingredient, and dishes like Adobo are popular. Rice is a staple and is served with various meat, fish, stew, soup, and vegetable dishes.     10/10 experience, the service was warm and welcoming and I came in as a solo diner and they were able to make smaller portions of different apps so I could try them! The wine was excellent, the food exceeded expectations—that pan con tomate on homemade sourdough had no business blowing me away like that. Get the cake!!!!!!!

    Aera is one of my favourite restaurants to celebrate anything. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I brought him to celebrate. The food is AMAZING! I ordered the rigatoni and he ordered the stuffed chicken with a side of mash potatoes. The portions are amazing you will definitely leave feeling full! The restaurant has a stunning view over the city, and it is an amazing place to take cute photos. Staff is really sweet, and definitely makes you feel welcomed. The prices are reasonable and you won’t break the bank to eat luxury.

    Love this restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious. Great list of cocktails and mocktails. Best part is, during dinner, diners (and staff) can participate in karaoke right at their table. Makes for a really fun and unique experience. Different diners from opposite ends of the restaurant would partake in a duet..Had a great time! Oh, and the desserts were amazing
