A wonderful meal servers by a gracious staff that worked so well together to enhance our dining experience. So many menu choices with explanations by our waiter that made it easier to choose. A very nice wine list with many by the glass options, I started with the lobster bisque , very rich and loaded with lobster meat. For our entrees my wife ordered the Wagyu beef cheeks (which I got to taste) - like nothing we have ever had before. So tender and complemented with the vanilla reduced beef broth that the cheeks were cooked in was a real tase treat. My steak was done just like I like it and the beef was so tender. All this was topped off by their rich. And marvelous chocolate soufflé all served with elegance. Overall an incredible dining experience which if we ever get to Sedona again we will book a meal at Rene’s.

Great little spot with exceptionally good food. The K4 filet was perfectly cooked to specification, the crab cake appetizer was sublime, and the oysters were a steal. Many fancier restaurants fall short of the nuanced flavors and quality we experienced at the Village Chophouse.

WOW. We tried this place because it was suggested on OpenTable. We were so impressed! Had the ahi tostadas and beef cheek for apps. Both were great, the cheek was next level. My husband ordered the short ribs and I had the barbacoa for dinner. We've been here 6 days already and that fish with the phenomenal carrot/cardamom sauce and tortillas are my favorite meal in Sedona 100%! Our server Lauren was awesome too. We sat inside but it looked like the patio had a great big fire pit and heaters as well. Recommend!

We sat in one of the outdoor gabazo/greenhouses, and it was so magical. We didn’t know those were n option, so we had a nice surprise there and it was quite magical. The food was excellent and the service was just as good. We highly recommend this place for a special occasion, or if you're just wanting a 5 star experience.
