- DDebiSouth Carolina •5 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoMenu items and restaurant week offerings were varied and appealing. Service was prompt and attentive. Brussels sprouts were tasty but a little heavy on the bacon and cheese. Salmon entrée was good, and meatball appetizer tasty albeit a bit overly sauced. Dessert Blondie was a delicious highlight and carrot cake was pretty good, but mild.More infoChurch and Union - CharlestonPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown Charleston•4.5

- PPhileciaCharlotte •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAmen Street Fish and Raw Bar is a delightful restaurant! We were in town with my mother in law for the weekend and found Amen on Google. After reading the reviews were knew we had to eat here. The decor is welcoming and warm and the noise level is just right. I never felt like I had to yell or repeat myself with my companions. We started dinner with an order of Hush Puppies and the Date Salad for the table and I had the She Crab Soup. We all agreed that the Hush Puppies were the best we've ever had! The date salad with the arugula and goat cheese and dates, delicious!! If you love She Crab Soup ORDER THIS ONE!! It was so good with lumps of crab meat and you could taste the sherry in it. For our mains we ordered Bourbon Glazed Salmon Filet, New Bedford Sea Scallops with a crab cake on the side, and an order of Grilled Salmon, Broccolini, and a side of Creamed Corn. Everything was out of this world delicious!! I would go back just for the creamed corn alone! Bottom line, if you're in Charleston or planning to go to Charleston and haven't decided where to eat yet, look no farther than AMEN STREET FISH AND RAW BAR. We will definitely be back!!!More infoAmen Street Fish + Raw BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown Charleston•4.7
- GgailsVIPNew York City •11 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAmazing from the most moment we walked in we were welcomed like we were regulars. The interior and ambience is really quite beautiful. I had read a lot of reviews as I always do so I take my reviewing very seriously. I almost didn't go based on some negative reviews, but there were so many good ones I decided to try it. We were not disappointed. We happen to luck out and get Darnell as our waiter. I have read a lot about him, and he was every bit as wonderful as other reviewer said everyone there went above and beyond to make sure the water was filled to make sure our food was good at Dornell's suggestion I ordered the whole fried flounder or something I've never had. It was absolutely delicious and he even instructed me on the correct way to eat it around the bones my partner got the halibut and it was also delicious. We got the shrimp de jonghe as the appetizer which was to die for, and because we told them it was our anniversary in the reservation they brought us two glasses of champagne and a beautiful plate, written in chocolate, good wishes with some cream and berries. I would absolutely recommend this and go here again.More infoAnsonPrice: Very Expensive• Southern• Downtown Charleston•4.8
