There are so many reasons Mr. B’s Bistro is our absolute favorite restaurant, and it all begins and ends with their superlative customer service. Their attention to detail becomes obvious the moment you walk into the restaurant, and it only gets better as you interact with their exceptionally trained waitstaff. The menu offers something for everyone, and if it’s on the menu you can count on that dish being made with the finest quality ingredients and prepared to perfection. And if you’re like us and you enjoy a good wine to go with your meal you will not be disappointed with their selection which is priced quite reasonably. Give Mr. B’s Bistro a try and if you do I’m guessing it’ll be one of the favorite dining experiences.

We dined at August nine years ago, and the food was so memorable we returned. The bar was set so high the first time, we didn’t think it would be possible to exceed it. Ann Marie, Felicia and the ladies delivering the food from the kitchen were quite the team. My husband and I are still reveling in our experience. Every course on the Réveillon Menu was a journey in taste and got better as we headed for dessert. I ate my first pumpkin dish and raw oyster. Kudos to the chef. The food was outstanding. My husband really enjoyed the spoon bread. My favorite was the pan-seared pompano. We will continue to make dining at August a priority every time we return to New Orleans.

As a neighborhood regular I decided to switch up from my usual dish and ordered the braised short rib with polenta the polenta was absolutely excellent and was extremely flavorful. The short rib was perfectly fork, tender, and the taste melted in my mouth. Admittedly, I am not a fan of spinach, but this spinach was perfectly done and I actually really enjoyed eating it. I’ll have to come back very soon and order this dish again. 10 out of 10. Recommend!
