We are a multiple award winning restaurant, first opening our doors in Edinburgh in 2009. Whether it’s the blast of warmth that welcomes you as you step off the plane, the guitarist in that bustling side street bar you chanced upon or the very last meal of your trip, we wanted to create an atmosphere in Tapa that was evocative of our most vibrant memories of Spain! From Michelin starred restaurants in Madrid to roadside cafes in Sanlúcar de Barrameda we celebrate the incredibly diverse range of ingredients and stunning dishes that we’ve experienced on our travels through Spain by placing an emphasis on small, artisanal Spanish producers and ingredients almost impossible to source out with Spain. This is our experience of Spain and we look forward to sharing it with you very soon!

Mimi’s Bakehouse is a second-generation family business established in Edinburgh in 2010, when Michelle Phillips sold her family home to open a bakery café in Leith. We have gone on to build a local success story brand that gives people a ‘hug when they walk in the door’ as the original café has since doubled in size and the business has gained five more shops, a successful website selling cakes online and a concession at Archerfield Walled Garden. We also opened an industrial bakery in March 2020, out of which most online trade is produced for fulfilment. Mimi’s Bakehouse has become one of Edinburgh’s best-loved bakeries and an award-winning brand which is a well-known “feel good” place to visit, while remaining small enough to go the extra mile and try new things. We serve brunch, afternoon tea, coffee and cake.

We've come here many times over the year, this visit was on Valentines day and they did an outstanding job with creative and delicious starters and desserts to complement the tapas. We're always made to feel welcome and well looked after, and this was no exception even though it was clearly a busy night! Great experience. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous lunch at Dulse. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, the crockery was aesthetically pleasing and the food was so fresh and appealing. We went for the set menu of muscles, baked cod and desserts (although one of us had the Argentinian prawns from the Specials board- extra cost but worth it) all the food was delicious.

Loved Paloma so much! Strongly recommended . Brilliant fresh tacos with lots of flavor contrasts, crunch & punch. The feta whip tostada is also incredible & the Mexican street corn. Their house made hot sauce was also really good. Really well made delicious cocktails too - Their Paloma is best I’ve had in Edinburgh. Loved the vibe, the tableware, decor & staff were lovely. Definitely best tacos in town. 🤍🤍
