- CChrisVIPNew York City •20 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAwesome as always! STRONGLY recommend this for locals and those visiting NYC…the latter will really get a great sense of the NYC vibe, whether you are looking for a family-friendly environment or for a day/night out with pals in search of great food and fun cocktails from the Smith’s top shelf mixologists. They really cover all bases with some of the best and warmest service in town (hold the unwarrantedly rude NYC attitude, please!). Just go and see for yourself - you will not be disappointed…CJMore infoThe Smith - MidtownPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown East•4.7

A bit out of the way but that makes it more enjoyable since the crowds on Madison or Fifth avenues are not a problem. Stone crab claws were large and well prepared. The menu says 2lb Lobster stuffed with crabmeat and the dish is actually a good size lobster simply layered with huge chunks of crab-no breading. They offer to shell it for you as well. The wine list is extensive although I couldn't find many familiar names. Amazing place but be warned you'll need to have a fireproof credit card if you want the best of this fare..More infoSea Fire GrillPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Midtown East•4.8

The grill lives up to the to the standard of the main restaurant but with a somewhat more casual atmosphere. It’s a bit more noisy but I feel that adds to the charm. The menu is also different from the main restaurant with more casual fare including sandwiches and burgers. I highly recommend it.More infoWollensky’s GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.7
- GGaryVIPNew York City •117 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur visit today was an annual celebration which started at a restaurant called Christ Cella (if I spelled it correctly) in 1982. We bounced around at every meaningful steakhouse thereafter, but settled on Sparks perhaps 20 or more years ago. We absolutely love it. Today was no exception. The food was, as always, wonderful. The steaks and sea bass were prepared perfectly and presented in the same manner. Hector took care of our party and was great. I cannot say enough great things about Sparks. Thanks for being there ....More infoSparks Steak HousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Midtown East•4.6
- SSamanthaNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoTo be fair, we were a party of 13. Not S&W fault, our table was delayed to due guests who wouldn't leave after paying and we were seated almost an hour after our reservation. The staff was beyond impeccable, but the main course, though delicious, came out warm to cold. Our only complaint. One of my guests, who had ordered lobster, had their dish ice cold and did not eat it at all and S & W graciously removed it from the check. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time.More infoSmith & Wollensky - New YorkPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.6
