We are north of St. Armand’s Circle, and minutes from downtown Sarasota. Best known for Local Fresh Grouper and Red Snapper.     The food is exceptional. This is our favorite place on Longboat. Staff always pleasant and efficient. We have dined here often over the past few years and never had a complaint or bad experiencer I highly recommend LA Norma. You will not be disappointed.

    Service was great! Everyone was very welcoming and kind but the food was very memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant was so cozy and aesthetically pleasing. There is also a bar! They had daily specials and lunch specials. Complimentary garlic knots were so surprising and delicious. Their mozzarella wedges are a must have. Their pastas were huge portions, very filling and delicious. Their chicken soaks up the sauce of the food so well.Their food is made fresh in house so it was a little bit of a longer wait than I am used to but well worth.Will be back again!

    We were seated promptly and our server, Terri, was a hoot! We had fried mozzarella, which came in large wedges rather than sticks. For entrees, my husband had lasagna, and I had chicken parmigiana. Both excellent and huge servings (we each brought home enough for another meal). Terri made the evening with her good humor and great service.
