- BbrandonSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI would’ve given it all 5 stars however, I was an attempted victim of being scammed (partially got scammed). Prior to my arrival, I paid for the Valentine’s Day “experience” which was equivalent to 200 USD and I was informed that I would be given a complimentary two bottles of champagne and this special “experience” with the table being decorated. I made a request for the them to leave a simple note that says happy Valentine’s Day which was not honored. I also observed them sprinkle a few rose petals on the table as we were walking to the table (which tells me it’s not much effort put into it). I was also only given one bottle of champagne and when I arrived, my table wasn’t even ready and we had stand by the bar near the lagoon briefly. SCAM WARNING…I advise everyone traveling here to please ensure you are being charged appropriately. One of the waiters attempted to charge me an additional 300+ dollars for my fiancée and I’s dinner and I caught him red handed and he made every excuse. I know these prices can be confusing however, go on google and look at the exchange rate for whatever currency you are familiar with. Outside of the cons, this restaurant is top tier. The food is incredible and so are the views and service. I DO NOT recommend the Valentine’s Day experience. Overall I give this place a 4/5. Could be a subjective opinion however, this WAS my experience. You all should try it yourselves and leave a review :).More infoRosa Negra - CancúnPrice: Very Expensive• Latin American• Cancún•4.5
- PPamVIPNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoSO. MUCH. FUN. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is so nice and attentive. The food was delicious. But the atmosphere is the best part. My only regret is that I haven’t gone there sooner, it is definitely a must do for all trips to Cancun from here on out.More infoIlios CancunPrice: Very Expensive• Greek• Cancún•4.6
- TTylerOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoThe High Seas Fettucine was fantastic. Cocktails are great and we had a hard time choosing our starters and mains because everything looked delicious. Service was excellent, they were very attentive and respectful. Atmosphere was great both inside and on the terrace. I would 100% recommend to those staying in the hotel zone.More infoCenacolo - Hotel ZonePrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Cancún•4.7

- NNinaMinneapolis - St. Paul •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 30, 2024While staying at Live Aqua, we wanted to try Carnivore, knowing that it was not included in the all-inclusive experience. We had heard from the concierge that they would be happy to make a reservation for us, but we found a link on the Live Aqua guest website to do it ourselves through Open Table, so we made one for 7:00 pm. When we arrived at 7:00, we were surprised we were the only ones in the restaurant at prime dinner time; we were even more surprised to be told they didn’t have our reservation and that they didn’t use Open Table. I showed the host the email that confirmed our reservation and he was able to “find” us a spot (in the otherwise completely empty restaurant). The service was fantastic after the initial confusion with the reservation, and the food was well worth the extra cost. While we were seated, we saw multiple other couples/families show up for their reservation time, only to be told they don’t use Open Table and they didn’t have their reservation. They were all turned away, even though there were still plenty of available tables. It seems we were lucky we got seated! I don’t understand why Live Aqua/Carnivore have the link on their guest website to make a reservation if the restaurant can’t accommodate them. They should direct everyone through the concierge! Also, there is a menu listed on the Live Aqua guest website that includes a special cocktail menu - when we tried to order from it, the server had no idea what we were talking about and couldn’t make those drinks. We heard other tables try to order off that menu as well and the servers were confused. We ended up ordering basic cocktails, which was fine, but we were confused about the menu that didn’t seem to exist. Overall, the service and food were great and I’d go back, but wanted other people to know not to use the Open Table reservations or menu!More infoCarnivore - Live Aqua - CancunPrice: Very Expensive• Fine cuts• Cancún•4
