Restaurants near Vizcaya Metrorail Station

We got there very early (5:30) on a Wednesday. We decided to have a drink at the bar for happy hour before sitting at our table. We had so much fun trying drinks and ordering appetizers at the bar that we never sat at our table. We ended up staying for a bit of the Flamenco band that started around 7:30. Great place, highly recommend.

Been to this location many times, that's why we keep coming back. Service, food and ambience are great. Ahi Tuna was great.

The setting in the Versace mansion is perfect. The fountain, pool, tile work, statues and tapestries are the perfect setting for traditional Italian dining. The ocean air breeze flowing over the open southern wall by the pool perfectly complements the vibe in this ristorante with an authentic trattoria feel. Somehow, I wasn’t even annoyed by the constant picture taking of influencers and other diners as the setting is more like - how could you not? The medium rare lamb chops and truffle gnocchi were perfect. The desserts are a demonstration of the talent of both the chef and the servers. Try the tiramisu to see what I mean.

We celebrated one of my best friend’s birthdays here and it was amazing! The atmosphere, the food, our waiter Leo and the management team were amazing. The agreed to relocate our table outside even though we had selected inside. They were very accommodating and helpful. We purchased the birthday package and a bottle of champagne and it was worth it. My friend was so happy to see all the staff members waving their fans while they brought her the bottle and dessert. They had a DJ during brunch and luckily it was just the perfect volume where we could still have conversations while the music was on. I definitely recommend this restaurant for any event especially a birthday.

We were told to go there by my brother in law the next time we were visiting Miami. Well the 38 minute drive was 1000% worth it. Don’t even think about going, just get in your car and drive to this place. You won’t regret it, I promise! We ordered the peanut butter and blueberry/lemon pancakes! Both ridiculous! Shoutout to Olivia for exceptional service (good luck with your studies ;-) and to Wakim (the owner) who came to chat and say hi! 12/10!
