Such a wonderful evening! Home cooked meal and lovely experience with the other guests at the table. Davide was a great host!

Great experience — from the warmth and slight aroma of real fires, the craft cocktails to the homemade dishes! Was in town for the holidays and took my parents (who live about 45 mins away) out to dinner as a thank you for hosting the holidays. None of us had been to The Tavern and we all enjoyed the experience. Among the 4 of us we had the Osso Bucco, scallops, 8 oz filet and the prime rib and we all enjoyed!

My boyfriend & I booked a private igloo. I'm not sure that we will book it again because the reservation of $50 doesn't really get you much besides a tiny space with a heater. It doesn't get applied to your meal so you are paying separately for that. Meanwhile, staff was friendly and food was fantastic. The truffle fries w/ garlic dip were perfect. We purchased a wine flight which was also very much so enjoyable. If we drive up again, we will probably just eat inside instead of paying for an igloo. The idea is nice, but it didn't quite justify the extra $50. All in all, a good date night regardless.

To be clear, I’m a big fan of the Bedford Springs resort, but the upscale dining options there have always felt…underwhelming. I dined on a Saturday night in the Crystal Room. I like the way the Crystal room presents, with simple, but classic decor right in the heart of the hotel. But the menu is very conservative and rather limited, and quite expensive, so it can’t help but be a little disappointing. My partner had the salmon and I had the pork medallions: both were good, solid, well prepared, and flavorful. Our server was very nice, attentive and charming. Our food came out in a very timely fashion. I’ll dine there again I’m sure, and my guess is that when I do I will again wish the prices matched the overall experience a bit better.
