Restaurants near West Walnut Street Historic District

The food was really good as usual. The piano music was very loud which made it hard to have a conversation. The service was SUPER SLOW !!! Had the slowest waitress I’ve ever had !!! We’ve been going there for years. Not very impressed this time. ☹️

We had a lot of comp credits to use and invited two friends. The waitress was extremely competent, professional and courteous. She explained everything we required about and had several helpful suggestions. The food is very upscale, similar to Mary's and the Flame. It is very pricey because it is in a casino, where many patrons use comps to purchase food. Many of the clientele were not dress appropriately for a fine dining restaurant. Tank tops, hats on backwards and shorts are not casual business attire. We were told that we could not get earlier reservations but our friends arrived 45 minutes early and were seated immediately. We were on the casino floor at the time and arrived at the scheduled reservation time. In the future, we will always arrive early.

It was my birthday, my favorite item is coconut shrimp, their loaded bake potato and ceacer salad. Marion Il.Red Lobster is z great place to eat.
