Please be advised. Friday and Saturday's dinner service is Exclusive Omakase experience only. Omakase chef tasting menu is $175 Per Person (price does NOT include beverage and gratuity). Each section will take 120 minutes. (4:30pm to 6:30, 7:30 to 9:30)For all parties, 100% of cost per person + tax will be charged at the time of booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the reservation date will not be refunded.     Absolutely wonderful meal. Great selection of dishes, well prepared and great ingredients. The beet salad was fantastic. Has simple gnocchi with truffle butter and it was perfectly made. Many other great dishes at our table. Desserts also fantastic and good wine list. Frankly, best restaurant in Davis.

    If you are looking for a great dining experience in Davis, Hikari is the place to go. The chef and his team are passionate about their work. They go out of their way to get the best ingredients and pay minute attention to every detail. One thing I have not commented in the past is the team's devotion to sustainability. In the words of chef Tun "nothing goes to waste". This was my 10th Omakase dinner at Hikari and it was just as memorable as the first.

    A cozy restaurant that's a Davis staple. Enthusiastic service and delicious food. Enjoyed the tomato bisque with puff pastry, salad of greens with light dressing and crab cakes. A delightful, unique spot.
