Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. There were 6 people in our party. We had a variety of entrees ranging from steaks to salmon to pasta. Everyone said their food was delicious. The prices were reasonable. The service was excellent. We appreciate that you are able to make reservations. We will definitely be eating there again.
