Restaurants near Wilderness Park

We sat outside with heaters and it was comfortable. Much quieter than inside. Flat bread pizzas and mushroom soup are delicious. We have been here several times and the food is good, and the service is friendly. It is always busy and a little loud inside.

Always good food and service, feels like a special night out in nice restaurant but relaxed welcoming atmosphere. The soups are a bit salty sometimes. The restaurant can be a bit noisy when full especially with the piano, so hard to hear if at a larger table, even with only 4 people.

Nicely done. Everything was as we hoped for. A very unique property in Ann Arbor.

Faith was our server and she was well informed and attentive. Noise level was a little high making it hard to have a conversation at a normal level. Potato Leek soup was delicious, Caesar salads were overly dressed and the dressing did not have an authentic taste, salmon was well prepared, the panko chicken was a bit dry and could have used some herbs tossed in with the panko crust.

We visited Veritas for dinner before attending the Drinks & Deception show upstairs. Upon arrival, the restaurant had a moderate crowd, but we quickly noticed that very few tables had food, which raised concerns about timing. It took about 10 minutes before a hostess even arrived to seat the three waiting parties they were at the door, suggesting they might have been understaffed or in the midst of a shift change. Once seated, the wait times for both food and drinks were noticeably long, which made it a bit stressful given our plans for the evening. Despite the delays, Veritas offers a fairly priced menu and a pleasant ambiance. I’d consider returning in the future, hoping they address the staffing and wait-time challenges.
