A Delightful Dining Experience for All Our recent visit to Maggiano's was an absolute treat. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and undeniably upscale. The perfect setting for a special occasion or a family gathering. The food was the star of the show. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Even our young children were delighted with their kid-friendly options, cleaning their plates with enthusiasm. Whether you're a connoisseur of Italian cuisine or simply looking for a delicious meal, Maggiano's is sure to impress. We can't wait to return!

Mistral and Aquitaine are among my favorite French restaurants in Boston, but I had not tried Bistro du Midi until last night. I would now give this the top rank. We had the special ribeye, buillabase, duck, steak tartare, tortellini , octopus and everything was delectable. Service and atmosphere are also top notch. Even the kids pizza was unbelievable. Given the flawless dinner, I expected the desserts to be the same,  and while the chocolate soufflé and crème brûlée were excellent, the other items we tried were good, but not great. You may need a second job to pay for the dinner, but if you have the money to drop, it’s worth it. 

This is an exceptional restaurant. We had a really great server named Sonny. They only do lunch during December. It was a real treat to do this meal in the middle of the day. The price tag for two people was astronomical, however. (They offered us a 60 ounce Japanese Wagyu tomahawk steak for $650, for example. We passed.). That being said, in the end, it was well worth the price in my opinion.

First course was exceptional - squash carpaccio. Second course was ok - veal milanese. Service was outstanding. Tables are VERY close together - zero privacy from neighbors. Decor is vibrant, warm, and rich with natural light. The tight spacing, noise level, and variable food quality eclipse the good parts of Contessa.

Wonderful meal and one of the best restaurants decorated for the Christmas Holiday season with music playing in the background. Sweet tooth Tuesday was shot, my husband and I had the bread pudding and chocolate chip cookie! Excellent, a treasure in Beacon Hill
