The krō bär is an eclectic bar with a speakeasy vibe and a passion for spirits and great food with a nod to another era. Tucked away on Main Street in Bothell, a walkable neighborhood teaming with local art, culture and food, the artfully handcrafted krō bär has been reclaimed from the bones of Bothell’s historic hardware store in the Mohn building.     Ate there for both dinner and brunch the following day, the brunch because the dinner was so excellent - absolutely excellent food, with excellent staff, and an incredible wine selection. Highly recommend, particularly because of its proximity to some of Woodenville‘s best wineries!!

    We had a wonderful Valentines dinner. The pre fix menu had many great choices. We chose: Lobster bisque, salmon caviar crostini, waygu NY Steak with a lobster tail and flourless choc cake. Butternut squash soup, buratta, lobster risotto and crème burley. Every item was cooked to perfection. I have never heard my husband give so much praise to how outstanding his steak was. The timing of each part of the 4 course meal was perfect. The musician played great music with out being to loud. Ryan our favorite server took great care of us. We will be back. Sparrow is our favorite neighborhood restaurant! (I forgot to include that there was a singe stemmed red rose on our table when we were seated which I thought was a very nice touch done for all guests)
