We were taken to a quieter thanks to the effort of the Maitra de Great service great food for my daughter’s birthday. Could not have been better Highly recommend for food and service.

There were two of us at Jake’s last night for dinner. We started with a couple of appetizers and each of us had a margarita. Well, the appetizers were so fantastic that we just stuck with a variety of appetizers (6 total) all eve. I highly recommend the crab cake and mussels appetizers!! It doesn’t get better than these. Also, I want to mention that our our server was AMAZING. We are both gluten-free and he was so attentive to that requirement that he graciously went to the kitchen several times to ensure that all was GF. He even suggested ways to alter a dish to make it GF and then instructed the kitchen in ways to accommodate our needs. A very enjoyable evening!

Took my wife here for her birthday on Friday and had a great experience. My wife ordered a filet mignon cooked well done. It did come out a little too well done so they had to put in another one. However, filet mignon’s are not meant to be cooked well done so we get it. At the end of the day, they made everything right the food tasted amazing And the staff was quick and helpful ! Highly recommend 

Best OVERALL Restaurant on the coast. Nice enough to celebrate special occasions and casual enough to pop in for lunch and have a cocktail. LOVE THE SERVICE…because it’s rare to find good service. FOOD is excellent…can find something on the menu for everyone. (My favorites are the Seafood Pasta and the Seared Ahi!) Great appetizers and GREAT DRINKS!

Best high end Mexican food we’ve in San Diego! We had the filet mignon ranchero and the El Vaquero plate. The meat was cooked perfectly on both plates and the flavors were delicious! Kudos to the Chef. The service was outstanding and our server was extremely knowledgeable for our child’s food allergies. Can’t wait to go back.
