The first Oven Restaurant, located in the heart of downtown Lincoln, has been around since 1988 and owned/operated by a dedicated family of chefs who have been creating Indian cuisine for over twenty seven years. The Oven Restaurants specialize in Northern Indian Cuisine which is known for its rich colors, flavor profiles and a unique style of cooking in a clay oven, called the Tandoor. Chicken, shrimp and lamb marinate for several hours in a yogurt and spice mixture and placed on skewers while various breads are being hand made by our chefs fresh each day. The skewers and breads are then placed in the tandoor over an open flame where breads are cooked to perfection and the rich flavors are sealed in to ensure tenderness and quality of the meat.     Our server was great and helped explain the menu. All our food was excellent from the steaks to the chicken pasta dish. The brussel sprouts are a must try. We will definitely go back.

    I cannot say enough about the exceptional food and service at The Green Gateau. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for a perfect evening. The menu is beautifully curated, offering a wide range of dishes that cater to all tastes. I ordered the seafood fettuccine, which came highly recommended, and it was fresh and flavorful. However, a few of the mussels were a bit hard to open. I casually mentioned this to our server, and he went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was flawless. Without hesitation, he had the chef prepare me an entirely new order of mussels, which was absolutely perfect! This level of attentiveness and care is rare to find. Every dish my family had was outstanding, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The ambiance was elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect spot for any occasion. I am beyond impressed with the team’s dedication to customer satisfaction and the quality of their food. This place has earned a lifelong customer, and I will be recommending it to everyone I know. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!

    This dinner was to celebrate the holidays with good friends/neighbors of ours. We were seated quickly (but glad we had reservations!). Our waiter, Jason, was super busy but very attentive. We ordered sirloin steak tips salad, salmon nicoise, salmon and pork chop ribeye. Each meal was DELICIOUS! Overall, wonderful meal and great service! Piedmont Bistro is a favorite of ours and will continue to be our go to for a wonderful meal!
