    The L’Auberge Chez Francois has been our touchstone location for birthdays , anniversaries and special occasions for literally decades. The service has always been impeccable and the atmosphere and food match. I hope to be visiting for years to come!

    This is by far the best meal we have had in the DMV. Everything was outstanding- service, food, ambiance. Icing on the cake was that everything inside and out was decorated for the holidays, which made it even more magical. Can’t recommend enough!

    Fantastic from start to finish. Sure it’s pricey, but it was worth every penny, from the second they take your coat at the door, through the many courses, and being sent home with a box or rolled back to your car due to the amount of food. Our server was able to instantly answer our requests for recommendations across different courses, including a perfect wine pairing that balanced different meals and palates for myself and my wife. Top notch, will return, and recommend to anyone willing to foot the bill.

    As always, the holiday menu was exceptionally good! We had the Beef Wellington and the Three Medallions - beef, veal and lamb. Exquisite!

    It was the amazing experience we’ve come to expect from L’Auberge… the only little gaff was my wife ordered the tournedos of beef medium well and the came out mostly medium rare to medium rare- because of how busy everything was she opted to eat the more cooked pieces and take the rest home rather than sending it back to be fixed. Other than that it was wonderful and we got the bonus of having Chef Jacques come by the table and saying hi.

    We've been enjoying L'Auberge's unparalleled hospitality and wonderful food since the early 1980s. It's truly wonderful to know that some things in life remain constant. Our Thanksgiving/Birthday experience shone with the excellent menu--the Beef Wellington was a piece of art; the Thanksgiving Turkey special was indeed special. I know we'll continue to visit far into the future, so long as they'll have us, as there is just no equal in the entire DC area.

    Exquisite cuisine flawlessly prepared. Extraordinary service rarely found. Our family has come time & again for over 40+ years & on every visit the staff makes you feel like the most special guest in a warm, cordial professional way. Great for celebrations.
